I am very pleased with the resurfacing job done by Rodd from The Resurfacing Company. He did my patio and pool deck, both look fantastic. They were very professional, worked very hard at keeping their work mess contained and cleaned up all the debris created by the job. He double checked with me on decisions we had made at the time we contracted with him and made suggestions about drainage issues we had been having. Rodd does much of the work himself so he was at the work site constantly and that insures the job is done to his standards. They did an excellent job.

Service was performed on time without any delays. Rodd was very personable and trustworthy. Unlike some other contractors who didn't even bother to return my calls, he responded promptly. This is the second time I've had to have the pool deck resurface in a period of about 7 years. There is no comparison to the quality of workmanship then and now. Rodd's is far superior.

This experience was fantastic from the start. Rodd came out right away to do the estimate for the job, which was initially just the countertops. His estimate was so reasonable and he left such a good impression that we decided to redo our flooring as well. We were remodeling our kitchen, so we had an odd timeline (particularly for the countertops). He was very flexible and worked with us throughout the projects. He even squeezed us in to the flooring before the Thanksgiving holiday. Rodd was professional, courteous, and happily answered my endless questions. His work was far and above the work we were quoted from other concrete providers. We now have a fantastic shiny black floor that is not at all slippery. He even left us extra color and wax if we ever have to touch ups over the years. Not surprisingly, the concrete countertops exceeded our expectations, too. Throughout both projects, Rodd refused to compromise the integrity of his work. As a result, Rodd ended up doing more work than originally anticipated.

The countertops are astounding. They are beyond description and the quality is immediately apparent. The marbling in the concrete ties into our flooring, along with the black grout used between the seams of the countertops (they needed to be at least three pieces). The installation was great and simple. They leveled the countertops and sealed around our sink. The results for both the flooring and the countertops were far beyond what we could have imagined. Working with Rodd was a delight at every step. I will absolutely recommend The Resurfacing Company to anyone who wants concrete work done. His work is so good that our guests have already asked for his contact information. We will continue to work with Rodd for any future concrete projects, too.

Rodd stained/painted concrete floors in 2-car garage, on lanai and on front entry. Rodd came out and presented options in designs and colors for the 3 areas. The garage was done with epoxy and decorative stain was used on the lanai and entryway. He took 4 days to do the work. He planned out the work in a way that we could always have access in and out of the house during that time. The work included prepping the concrete we had which meant cleaning it and filling in some holes. A base coat was applied, then the color and then a sealer coat. We also wanted a shark coat in the garage to keep it from being slippery when wet. Our lanai had several cracks in it, so Rodd used those cracks in a scored design which looks absolutely beautiful. The front entryway was made to look like a tile design with grout and it, too, looks great. We are absolutely impressed and couldn't be happier with the outcome. Our neighbors seem jealous.

He totally rerouted and resurfaced my patio because I wanted to retain the faux brick look. It was a very time consuming project. He also repainted my pool surround and the etching of the bricks around my pool. It went great and it was done during the awful cold snap we experienced here. He also removed and replaced all my furniture as a courtesy, which I greatly appreciated since I am a single woman.

They resurfaced and colored pool/patio area. He showed up when he said he would. Advised me as to details of what should be done. Charged me what he said he would, and cleaned up after the work was done. More than that I can't ask for. Prompt, reliable service...excellent work. He was pricier than some other bids. I wanted expansion joints masked. He said "No, color joints too" and he was right! I say "go for it" when considering this contractor. I say "keep it up" to Rodd and The Resurfacing Company, Inc.
